Are you a high school mountain bike racer looking to step up your racing skills?

This training camp is a new concept in training for young athletes. Designed and developed by the coaches at Leadville Racing in Leadville Colorado, this camp takes place at the beautiful campus of Colorado Mountain College, the nation’s highest college campus.

Geared toward all levels of young racers, learn how to train for competitive racing surrounded by the 14,000 peaks of the Sawatch and Mosquito Ranges in the heart of the Rockies. Camp participants will learn from professional riders as well as coaches from the highly successful Leadville Racing high school team. Training includes:

• Bike specific training and workouts for strength and endurance
• Techniques and tactics for competition
• Nutrition for the training table
• Maintenance and mechanics
• Yoga and wellness geared to younger athletes

Typical Daily Schedule

Check in: Sunday,  noon-3:00pm
Check out: The camp ends Wednesday at 1:00pm

8:00 am Yoga, stretching, light fitness
8:30-9:30 am Breakfast
10:00 - 12:00 pm Training ride
12:00 -1:00 pm Lunch
1:00-3:00 pm Classroom session with nutrition, 'Bike 101', training strategies
3:30-5:30 pm Afternoon training ride
6:00-7:30 pm Dinner
7:30 pm Evening activities
